Saints on Missions
Saints on Mission is a church-based discipleship and training initiative led by Chrispo and Sharon Okello. The program mentors men for gospel ministry and spiritual formation, equipping them to serve, lead their churches, and join God’s mission through profession and continuing to shape their families and peers through contextual discipleship, and spiritual formation.
Saints on Missions Ministry
In today’s rapidly evolving social landscape, men face profound personal, relational, and societal challenges. Amid cultural shifts, isolation, and fragmented identity, there is a critical need for spaces where men can be formed in Christ, supported in community, and equipped to serve faithfully. Men on Mission for Christ responds to this need by creating a transformative environment that fosters spiritual growth, mutual accountability, and constructive engagement with the world. Rooted in the Gospel, this initiative seeks to
cultivate redemptive expressions of masculinity that reflect Christlike leadership, humility, and responsibility.
At the heart of this ministry is a commitment to community. The group provides a safe and intentional setting for men to gather regularly, share their lived experiences, and confront the challenges they face in everyday life. In contexts where societal norms often discourage emotional vulnerability or spiritual reflection, Men on Mission for Christ offers a countercultural space where honesty, encouragement, and prayerful support are prioritized. Such spaces nurture deep relationships and a brotherhood of trust, forming the basis of lasting personal transformation.
In addition to fellowship, the group functions as a strategic platform for discipleship, biblical instruction, and education on pressing social issues. These conversations are not merely informational, they are formational, enabling men to reflect critically, respond faithfully, and lead responsibly while integrating their missional essence into their different spheres of influence. By integrating spiritual formation with practical wisdom, the group prepares men to become agents of change in their homes, churches, and broader communities. The ripple effect of the fellowship extends far beyond its members. As men grow in maturity and conviction, they model godliness and compassion to others, breaking cycles of passivity, abuse, or neglect, and instead building households and communities marked by grace, justice, and hope. Men on Mission for Christ envisions a movement of men who, empowered by the Gospel and shaped in community, become pillars of strength, wisdom, and sharing C Christ love in every sphere of life.
