The Living Water Project

The Living Water Project brings clean, safe water to communities facing severe scarcity. In partnership with local churches, we drill and maintain boreholes in areas where our missionaries serve—meeting urgent physical needs while opening doors for gospel witness, discipleship, and long-term community transformation through the love of Christ.

Drilling Boreholes for communities

In many regions where our missionaries serve—especially in remote and underserved communities—access to clean and safe water remains a daily struggle. Women and children often walk long distances to fetch water from contaminated sources, exposing families to disease and hardship. Recognizing this urgent need, Reaching Frontiers launched the Living Water Project to bring practical help and lasting hope through clean water initiatives.

The Living Water Project partners with local churches and gospel workers to drill and service boreholes in areas facing water scarcity. These efforts are not just humanitarian—they are deeply missional. Every borehole becomes a center of life and a testimony of Christ’s love, planted in the heart of communities that our missionaries are reaching with the gospel.

Working alongside trusted local leaders, the project ensures that boreholes are drilled where the need is greatest and where long-term stewardship is possible. Communities are trained in basic maintenance, and churches are equipped to use these water points as platforms for witness, discipleship, and community engagement.

The results are powerful: improved health, increased time for education and economic activities, and a greater openness to the message of Christ. Clean water opens hearts—and doors—for deeper gospel impact.

Yet many more communities still suffer without access to this basic need. You can join us in this life-giving mission. Your support helps fund drilling, equipment, training, and ongoing maintenance. Churches and individuals can partner by sponsoring a borehole, praying for specific communities, or supporting our missionary teams on the ground.

Together, we can provide both physical water and the Living Water—Jesus Christ—bringing wholeness to bodies and souls. Join us in this work of mercy and mission. Every drop makes a difference.

Drilling a Borehole, Bringing clean water.

The borehole drilling project serves as a mercy ministry through our local church partnerships, helping them care for communities facing water challenges. It provides clean water, affirms dignity, and reflects Christ’s compassion.

Maintenance and sustainability

We ensure sustainability by training local church partners and community leaders in borehole maintenance. With proper tools and follow-up support, communities take ownership of repairs—ensuring clean water access lasts. This approach fosters dignity, resilience, and long-term impact, making the Living Water Project a model of holistic and gospel-centered transformation.
