Creation and care - Tree planting

Environmental degradation and food insecurity continue to challenge local communities. Years of deforestation, overgrazing, and erratic rainfall have led to depleted soils, poor harvests, and growing vulnerability among families who rely on the land for survival. Reaching Frontiers, in partnership with local churches and organizations with a shared heart for creation care, has launched a holistic initiative focused on tree planting and sustainable agriculture working with partners.

This project is supported by faithful partners who are deeply committed to environmental stewardship and long-term transformation in rural communities. Farming God’s Way is a biblically-based method that teaches farmers to care for the land through sustainable practices that restore soil health, increase crop yields, and reflect God’s design. Tree planting complements these efforts by reversing deforestation, enhancing water conservation, and restoring biodiversity across village landscapes.

Through this initiative, villagers are not only seeing improved food security but are also engaging in discipleship and growing in their understanding of God’s call to steward the creation. The fruit of this work is already evident, through continued yields from the renewed land, stronger harvests, and a deepening witness to the gospel through creation care.

Yet, the need remains great. Many communities still lack tools, training resources, and seedlings. Your support can help expand this mission.
