Frenquently asked questions
1. What is Reaching Frontiers?
Reaching Frontiers is a non-denominational missions organization committed to advancing the Gospel among least reached peoples and underserved communities. We exist to identify, equip, and send mission-minded individuals and teams into frontier contexts; places where Christ is not yet known or worshiped to share Christ's love and inspire transpformation. Our work is rooted in Scripture, shaped by prayer, and driven by a desire to see churches planted, lives transformed, and Christ glorified among the nations. We believe in long-term, incarnational presence and holistic witness as we engage in mission across cultural, spiritual, and geographical frontiers.
2. What does Reaching Frontiers do?
We are a catalyst. We fundamentally serve and work alongside the Local Church in communities to mobilize, train, and send individuals and teams to serve among people groups with little or no access to the Gospel. Our work includes frontier missions, discipleship, indigenous leadership development, Church planting among others for community transformation efforts. We offer support structures for missionaries, partner with churches to prepare and send out workers, and engage in advocacy for unreached peoples. Through strategic partnerships and contextualized training, we empower communities to experience spiritual renewal and sustainable development, rooted in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We are also a praying ministry.
3. Where does Reaching Frontiers serve?
Our primary focus is on least reached, unreached and hard to reach places and peoples. Currently, we serve through partnerships in East Africa and continue to expand. Our vision GO-North is to plant Churches 10/40 window. We have ongoing ministry presence in remote and spiritually neglected regions like Karamoja, Uganda, and we are expanding to serve among similar contexts globally including North America and South Asia Our emphasis is on places with limited Gospel access, minimal church presence, and often difficult living conditions. By committing to long-term relationships and culturally sensitive engagement, we aim to see local churches or Gospel communities planted and holistically transformed in the name of Jesus.
4. How can I get involved?
There are several ways to join us in the mission of reaching the least reached. You can serve as a missionary, partner with us in prayer, give financially to support our workers and programs, or become an advocate for unreached peoples in your local church. We also welcome volunteers and professionals willing to offer their skills in leadership development, education, medical work, or logistics. Whether you’re exploring your calling or seeking to invest in Gospel expansion, there’s a place for you at Reaching Frontiers.
5. What kind of trainings do you provide?
We offer tailored training programs to equip individuals and teams for effective cross-cultural ministry. Our training includes missions and theological training, spiritual formation, cultural intelligence, language learning strategies, and practical field preparation. Explore our MAT program for more training including Church Planting and mobilization trainings. Each participant goes through a discernment process, mentorship, and hands-on experience to ensure they are equipped for long-term presence and fruitful service. We also provide leadership development tracks and ongoing support to help field workers thrive spiritually, emotionally, and relationally in challenging contexts.
6. Is Reaching Frontiers affiliated to any denomination?
Reaching Frontiers is rooted in historic evangelical orthodoxy but operates interdenominationally. We value unity in the Gospel and partner with churches, organizations, and individuals from a range of Christian traditions who share our commitment to reaching the unreached. Our theological commitments reflect a high view of Scripture, the centrality of Christ, and the urgency of mission. We work with local churches and global partners across denominational lines to train, send, and support workers for the task of frontier mission. Please visit our statement of faith.
7. How is Reaching Frontiers Funded?
We are a faith-based organization sustained by the generosity of individuals, churches, and partners who believe in our mission. Every gift whether large or small helps send missionaries, support training programs, and fuel Gospel-centered initiatives in hard-to-reach places.
